In 2018, when villagers in Pandharkawada forest of Yatvatmal, Maharashtra were unable to take their cattle for grazing due to the fear of problem tigress T-1, EBF sent 10 tons of fodder to them to support attempts at stall-feeding.

KERALA FLOOD RELIEF EFFORTS
During widespread floods in Kerala in 2018, EBF procured and reached 20 tons of fodder for abandoned cattle. The locations covered were Kuttanaad, one of the worst affected cattle-rich areas (under the aegis of three Taluka veterinarians), Palakkad through Dakshin Vrindavan (the only cow shelter in Kerala, Malapuram – through veterinarian Dr. Ayub), Vaikkom – through Dr. Reji Varghese, Lifestock Management Centre, Thrissur – through Sally Verma, HSI, relentless rescuer of animals since the disaster on Aug 13, 2018, Kottayam – through Dr Biju, Friends of Animals, Kottayam.
